Iso Propanol - 600350
- For use as a dampening additive or solvent.
- Supplied to BS 1595.
- This is used as an additive in fount circulators to control surface tension and improve plate wetting in addition to the Fount Solution concentrate.
Typically, presses constructed before approx 2000 require a dose around 10%.
- Later machines will run as little as 4-5%, particularly when dosed with an effective alcohol reducing fount concentrate such as 601114 Blue Star Fount.
